The Little Fox is an educational service that specializes in tutoring elementary-aged children from grades 1 - 6. Our services are offered by highly qualified and caring educators with several years of hands-on experience. We adapt our instruction and personalize learning materials to the specific needs of each child according to their grade level and individual strengths and challenges. In 2020, we adapted our service to be offered online for ease of access for all.
The 3 C’s of the little foxes :
Courage: Having the courage to ask questions and to admit when we need more guidance. It is also to accept that making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process. Be courageous, don't give up and success is sure to follow.
Curiosity : The ability to approach learning with a sense of adventure and the willingness to discover new ideas and concepts. Being open to seeing and doing things differently.
Collaboration: We (parents/educators/children/schools/community) are a team that work together for the success of all.
Tara Blanchet is the owner and founder of The Little Fox. She has over 19 years of experience working in Special Education with children of all ages, needs and learning styles. Tara has first hand knowledge of the various challenges that many children in our communities face, which includes the hard realities of increasingly limited resources and the polarizing effects of an outdated standardized educational model. She is passionate about her role as a child advocate and is driven to do all she can to support your child on their path to success.
